The Challenge
Sustainability reporting depends on information collected across multiple business functions, data owners, suppliers and systems. Without clear methodologies, ownership and validation processes, organizations can face challenges with data quality, consistency, auditability and accountability.
My Role
I led the design and operationalization of ESG data governance and validation processes supporting 30+ data owners across 10 global business functions, covering Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions.
My work connected sustainability objectives with the systems, methodologies, controls and governance mechanisms required to produce reliable environmental information and support corporate climate reporting.
